HOW AUSTOAD WAS BORN
AUSTOAD began from a place very close to our hearts, famaily,creativity, and desire to help others understand Autism in a real and meaningful way.
It all started with my son, whose autism gives him a beautifully unique wat of seeing the world.
One day, he drew a toad simple, expressive and full of personality.
That drawing wants just a picture, it was a glimpse into his imagination. Alongside his love for drawing, he has a big passion for 4×4 Landcruiser’s. The adventure movement and the feeling of going anywhere.
Those two things together sparked something special.
From that moment, the AUSTOAD character was born.
As our idea grew, it only felt right to include another important member of our family – our dog Milo. Loyal, loving, and always by our side. Milo became part of the journey too. Together the toad and Milo represent companionship, adventure, support and connection.
Austoad is more than just a character or a brand. Through our merch we want AUSTOAD and Milo to travel far and wide onto shirts, stickers, and other items reaching people everywhere.
Our goal is simple but powerful: to spark a conversation about Autism .
Sometimes all it takes is a question, a comment, or a curious glance to open the door to understanding.
If AUSTOAD can help start those conversations, then we are already making a difference.
